MJP Audio Designs ships worldwide from Argentina. This policy outlines shipping methods, timelines, costs, and responsibilities.
Shipping Locations
We Ship To
- Argentina, the USA, and the European Union (during the “Early Units” launch process)
Processing Time
- In-Stock Items: 2-3 business days
- Made-to-Order: 8-12 weeks (communicated at checkout)
- Custom Configurations: Timeline provided after consultation
Processing time starts after payment confirmation and doesn’t include shipping transit time.
Note: During product launches or holiday seasons, processing may take longer. We’ll notify you of any delays.
Shipping Methods & Transit Times
All shipments include tracking and insurance.
Domestic (Argentina)
- Correo Argentino / OCA / Andreani: 3-7 business days
International (USA)
- DHL / UPS / Fedex: 5-10 business days
Important: Transit times are estimates. Delays can occur due to customs processing, weather, carrier issues, or local delivery challenges. We’re not responsible for carrier delays beyond our control.
Shipping Costs
Calculated at checkout based on:
- Destination country
- Package weight and dimensions
- Selected shipping method
Free Shipping: Occasionally offered during promotions (terms apply).
Customs, Duties & Taxes
Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs fees charged by your country. These are NOT included in our shipping costs and are determined by the local customs authority.
Customs Declaration
We declare the full commercial value of shipments as required by law. We cannot mark items as “gifts” or undervalue them.
Customs Delays
Customs processing is outside our control and can add 1-2 weeks (sometimes longer) to delivery time. Track your shipment and respond promptly to any customs notifications.
Refused Shipments
If a customer refuse a shipment or don’t pay customs fees, the customer is also responsible for return shipping costs and any customs penalties. We’ll refund the order minus:
- Original shipping costs
- Return shipping costs
- 10% restocking fee
Tracking & Delivery
Tracking Information
Customers will receive tracking details via email within 24 hours of shipment. Track through:
- Our website (order status page)
- Carrier’s website directly
- Email us for tracking assistance
Delivery Requirements
- Signature: Required for all international shipments and high-value domestic shipments
- Incorrect Address: Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Address changes after shipment may incur fees.
Delivery Attempts
If delivery fails (recipient unavailable, address issues):
- Carrier will attempt redelivery or hold at local facility
- You’ll receive notification with instructions
- Unclaimed packages are returned to us (you pay return shipping + restocking fee)
Shipping Damage & Loss
Inspect Your Package
Inspect immediately upon delivery. If the box is damaged:
- Note damage on delivery receipt
- Photograph the box and contents
- Contact us within 48 hours: shipping@mjpaudiodesigns.com
Lost Packages
If tracking shows delivered but you didn’t receive it:
- Check with neighbors, building manager, or household members
- Confirm delivery address was correct
- File a report with the carrier
- Contact us within 7 days
All shipments are insured. We’ll work with you to resolve lost or damaged shipments.
Our Responsibility
We’re responsible for proper packaging. If damage occurred due to inadequate packaging, we’ll replace the item at no cost.
Carrier Responsibility
If damage occurred during transit (despite proper packaging), the carrier’s insurance covers replacement. We’ll handle the claim process.
Shipping Restrictions
Prohibited Items
We cannot ship to P.O. boxes for certain products (requires physical address). This will be indicated at checkout.
Batteries
Some products contain lithium batteries and have shipping restrictions. These may:
- Require ground shipping only (no air freight)
- Be unavailable for certain countries
- Incur additional hazardous materials fees
Restrictions will be shown at checkout.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Before Shipment
- Cancellations: Allowed anytime before we ship (full refund)
- Address Changes: Contact us immediately (may be possible if not yet shipped)
After Shipment
- Cancellations: Not possible once shipped (use our return policy instead)
- Address Changes: Contact the carrier directly with your tracking number (fees may apply)
Multiple Items
